EU welcomes release of OSCE monitors in Ukraine

Michael Mann, spokesman for EU High Representative Catherine Ashton, in a statement noted that EU leaders during their meeting in Brussels on Friday stressed that the release of hostages including all of the OSCE observers is one of four crucial steps to be undertaken by Monday, 30 June, or Russia will face more sanction

Mann reiterated the EU's firm support for the work already undertaken by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission as well as for the OSCE monitoring the implementation of President Petro Poroshenko's peace plan for Ukraine.
