(MENAFN - Arab Times) Kuwait june 27 (kuna): his highness the crown prince sheikh nawaf al-ahmad al-jaber al-sabah has addressed a cable of congratulations to his highness the amir sheikh sabah al-ahmad al-jaber al- sabah on the advent of the holy month of ramadan. his highness the crown prince in the cable expressed good wishes and warm sentiments toward his highness the amir beseeching his almighty to grant his highness a long and healthy life. He also prayed to allah to grant all possible means to his highness the amir so his aspirations be realized during his era; promotion of 'our dear homeland to a higher status of glory amid security safety and stability of the country.' his highness sheikh nawaf hoped that kuwait under his highness the amir's leadership would witness further development also hoping the faithful citizens would experience greater prosperity and progress. He has also wished that the arab and islamic nations may witness further promotion progress and prosperity hoping that the whole world may be blessed with security and peace. his highness the crown prince addressed two cables to his highness sheikh salem al-ali al-sabah the chief of the national guards and sheikh mubarak al-abdullah al- ahmad al-sabah expressing sincere congratulations and blessing on the ramadan occasion imploring his almighty to bestow upon them lasting health and well-being. Sheikh nawaf received a reciprocal cable from his highness the amir expressing identical warm sentiments to the crown prince the kuwaiti people and the arab and islamic nations. he also received an answering cable from his highness sheikh salem al-ali and sheikh mubarak al-abdullah on the blessed occasion. Moreover his highness the crown prince received ramadan cables from national assembly speaker marzqouq ali al-ghanim senior sheikhs deputy chief of the national guards sheikh meshaal al-ahmad al-jaber al-sabah his highness sheikh nasser al-mohammad al- ahmad al-sabah his highness the prime minister sheikh jaber al-mubarak al-hamad al-sabah first deputy prime minister and foreign minister sheikh sabah al-khaled al- hamad al-sabah. more such ramadan cables were addressed to sheikh nawaf; including ones from ministers governors senior state officials diplomats ordinary nationals and residents living in and outside kuwait. he reciprocated the cables voicing good wishes and warm feelings.
