Abu Dhabi CP, UK PM discuss bilateral ties


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan received a phone call Wednesday from British Prime Minister David Cameron. The two sides discussed the relations of friendship and cooperation between UAE and United Kingdom, and ways of promoting them in the service of the interests of the two friendly countries and their peoples, UAE news agency (WAM) reported. "They also reviewed the avenues of existing cooperation between the two countries, in economic, investment and trade areas in particular, as well as the importance of strengthening and promoting them in light of the close and solid relations between the two countries," the statement said. "The British Prime Minister expressed his hopes that U.A.E. will make more investments in Britain where they will be offered all available opportunities," the statement added. "The two sides also discussed a number of regional and international issues and the current regional developments, and exchanged views on the situation in Iraq, Syria and Libya." the statement noted.
