Expat from Oman dies on holiday in India


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) An Indian expat working in Oman for over 15 years died in an accident on Tuesday just a day after reaching his home country for a vacation. 

Mattanoor Saud (44) had left for the southern Indian city of Bengaluru on Monday night on a Indigo flight. His family said that his vehicle was hit by a speeding truck, fatally injuring him. His three children who were in the vehicle sustained minor injuries. 

Saud was a wholesale vegetable dealer in Rusayl.
