(MENAFN - Arab News) The 30th general assembly of the association of national development finance institutions (adfimi) announced the acceptance of six new members of adfimi including tadamon islamic bank jordan islamic bank the kazakhstan fund for financial support of agriculture jsc tekun national in malaysia al shamal islamic bank in sudan bangladesh development bank.

this was announced on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the islamic development bank group (idb) being held at the jeddah hilton. the meeting convened under the leadership of mehmet emin ozcan chairman of adfimi mohammed radzif mohammed yonus vice chairman of adfimi and nuri birtek secretary general of adfimi and a number of members of adfimi attended the meeting.

the meeting also took a decision to reduce the membership fees of the least developing member countries and discussed future events that will be held this year particularly the flagship event in kuala lumpur malaysia which will be inaugurated by the malaysian prime minister.

a working document was presented by birtek that discussed several issues including the report of the auditor the recommendations of the management committee promotional activities distribution of members by region external audit offers and report along with the adfimi audit board and financial tables of 2013 accounts 2014 second quarter results and budget for 2015.

at the end the members of adfimi exchanged their views and took note of various proposals presented in the meeting.
