He and his father, Mohammed Sulaiman al Burtamani from Oman, are amongst the lucky 21 winners from the GCC that travel to Brazil to watch the 2014 FIFA World Cup and walk on to the pitch with top football players from around the world. ''This is the most exciting trip I ever have so far in my life as it is an all-expense paid trip courtesy of McDonald's. This is something I never have imagined in my wildest dreams'', said Mohammed Sulaiman al Burtamani, the father.
''Going to Brazil to watch the World Cup was just a dream and I never thought it would turn into a reality. It is indeed a lifetime experience for me and my son. Big thanks to McDonald's. I am proud and thrilled to witness my son walk on to the pitch escorting one of the best football players in the world at the FIFA World Cup,'' he said. The FIFA World Cup 2014 Player Escort Program was launched in Oman in January this year. Children were selected through the Player Escort Program shootout competition.
Homoud Mohamed emerged as the winner.
