(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Bul june 21 (qna) - three us soldiers were killed in a roadside bombing in southern afghanistan officials said saturday.
the nato-led international military said "three international security assistance force service members and one isaf canine died following an improvised explosive device attack in southern afghanistan." a police source said the soldiers were americans and the attack took place in the volatile province of helmand.
"the bomb was concealed on a motorbike and detonated close to a us vehicle patrolling in nad ali district" he said.
taliban militants claimed responsibility for the attack. (qna)
