Bapco follows up to reported technical issues


(MENAFN) Bapco, the state-owned Bahraini oil company, said it is closely following up on the issue of computer safety and Internet threats which have recently been reported in the local media, Gulf Daily News reported. The oil giant confirmed that it takes such issues seriously, adding that it works constantly to develop and upgrade protection programs to ensure that it is coping with latest trends in system protection. "Bapco exerts its utmost efforts to best protect our systems from online threats and upgrade its efficiency to stand against this menace," it said.
