Hong Kong's GDP up 2.5 percent in Q1


(MENAFN) According to Hong Kong's Census Statistics Department, the city's overall gross domestic demand (GDP) grew 2.5 percent in the first quarter of 2014 on year, Xinhua reported. The Chinese city's GDP during the fourth quarter of last year increased 2.9 percent, the department said. Net output in respect of all the services activities rose 2.1 percent in the cited period over a year earlier compared to 2.8 percent growth in the fourth quarter of 2013.
