Hot and dry weather likely to persist in Pakistan


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Director-general meteorological department arif mehmood has said that mainly hot and dry weather is likely to persist in most parts of the country during next 24 hours.

talking to the state-run pakistan television on friday he said however isolated rain with thundershower is expected in islamabad rawalpindi gujranwala hazara divisions gilgit-baltistan and kashmir.

he said according to synoptic situation a seasonal low lies over balochistan and adjoining areas.

he further said that weak moist currents from the arabian sea are penetrating into north-eastern parts of the country.
