(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) Under the middle east expansion plan the uae will get 12 new stores.

polish cosmetics company inglot plans to touch the 200-store mark by 2020 in the middle east and 50 outlets by the end of 2014 chairman zbyszek inglot told khaleej times during his recent visit to dubai.
talking about the company’s expansion plan for other parts of the world he said that pakistan egypt and indonesia are on the list among others for this year.
“we open more or less one or two stores per week somewhere in the world and we receive 7-10 application every day across the world. so we hope to touch more than 70 countries by the end of 2014 including nigeria ivory coast chile colombia and peru” he explained.
established 31 years ago the company has a presence in nearly 60 countries with 480 stores. “we started international operations eight years ago and aim to touch more than 500 stores by the end of this year” the chairman said. all the countries are growing slower or faster but overall it’s a double-digit growth globally he informed.
“we are leader in poland with 180 stores. the middle east market is one of the biggest markets outside poland. the region contributes nearly seven per cent of our total revenues and expected to be in double-digit in a year” the chairman said.
under the middle east expansion plan the uae will get 12 new stores. with nine existing stores the country will have 21 stores by the end of 2014. saudi arabia is another big and important market in the region he said.
“our principal objective is to produce high quality products at fair and reasonable prices using the best ingredients and raw materials from the most reputable suppliers” he said adding that all inglot cosmetics are produced within the european union and 95 per cent of them are manufactured in the company’s own production facilities.
“we work with talented make-up artists and colour consultants to bring the latest trends in colour texture and form to the market. we constantly develop new products and launched the world’s first ever breathable nail enamel that ensures better health care for nails combined with excellent look. this product is very popular in the uae and market leader” he explained.
in the uae inglot is represented by apparel group a global fashion and lifestyle retail conglomerate. the chairman was in town to open the company’s first ever new concept store in the world located in the dubai mall.
“inglot is poised to usher in a new era for beauty retail by re-defining the whole beauty experience with the launch of this new store. the brand has made its mark as both an international name as well as a beauty authority” he said.
also attending the event were victoria bonya russian supermodel and brand ambassador for inglot; and new york-based celebrity make-up artist jon hennessey.
to mark the launch inglot also unveiled its brand new range at the event making it the first inglot store globally to retail the new collection.
inglot’s new concept store incorporates a warm and inviting atmosphere encouraging visitors to browse and sample. the interactive space is primed to redefine how customers experience beauty with the beauty station that allows customers to explore new collections or even have a quick makeover. the arty feature wall and chandeliers bring a sense of regal elegance to the overall ambience.
