Dubai Municipality opens ?smart oases? in special needs centres


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Mohamed abdul karim julfar assistant director-general for corporate supports services dubai municipality has inaugurated �smart oases� in both the rashid centre for the disabled and dubai rehabilitation and handicapped centre.

julfar said the municipality has donated 24 computers and 16 tablets to these centres with the aim of supporting their humanitarian efforts in the field of providing best quality education and treatment for children with special needs.

“dubai municipality is keen to support constructive humanitarian initiatives in different fields and it has joined hands with hundreds of institutions both locally and globally to help people have better living conditions” he said.

“the civic body encourages community members and institutions to get involved in charity and community development initiatives in different ways to the extent that it has been giving the dubai international award for best practices that improve living conditions all over the world since 1995 which is considered one of the most prestigious global awards” he added.
