(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Scow june 19 (qna) - russia's foreign ministry said south korea's nuclear envoy hwang joon-kook and his russian counterpart igor morgulov met in moscow on wednesday.
south korea and russia's top nuclear negotiators have discussed ways to resume the stalled six-way nuclear talks according to korea's (kbs-world) website.
the ministry said in a statement that the two officials shared the view that there is no other alternative than a political and diplomatic solution in addressing north korea's nuclear issue.
the ministry added that the members of the six-nation talks agreed on the need for united efforts to get the nuclear negotiations back on track based on the principles they set back in september 2005. (qna)
