(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The Public Works Authority - Ashghal - has announced a new road diversion on Umm Al Seneem Street from June 22.
The diversion is to build the new connection road from Umm Al Seneem Street to the new Karwa Interchange, as part of the Al Muntazah Road Project.
It will last until the year-end. During this period, 150-metre of the exiting two lanes double carriageways of Umm Al Seneem Street ahead of Karwa Roundabout will be closed, including Ras Umm Heesh Street's entrance and Umm Al Seneem Street's exit; and a new U-turn will be introduced on Umm Al Seneem Street ahead of the closure.
Motorists coming from Industrial Area Road and heading to Umm Al Seneem Street can take a right at Wadi Al Ghafa Street and then left at Rawdat Al Thakhira Street. Those coming from Umm Al Seneem Street and heading to Industrial Area Road can take a left at Rawdat Al Thakhira Street and then right at Wadi Al Ghafa.
