New Zealand's trade deficit continues to fall in Q1


(MENAFN) New Zealand's statistics body said that the country's deficit in current account balance continues to fall, reaching the smallest deficit of USD0.52 billion since 2010, Xinhua reported. The registered deficit of USD0.52 billion for the first quarter of 2014 is USD0.26 billion smaller when compared to the deficit registered in the fourth quarter of 2013. "The smaller deficit follows last quarter's 13.86 billion dollars fall, making this the smallest current account deficit since 2010," international statistics manager said.
