Bahrain's Asry posts fourth revenue growth in a row

(MENAFN) Bahrain's ship and rig repair yard Asry saw a significant growth in revenue in 2013, its fourth annual growth in a row, according to Gulf Daily News. The company's revenue was estimated at USD199 million in 2013, 12.1 percent higher than in 2012, resulting from repairing a record-equalling 184 vessels. Chairman Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa said: "Last year Asry put the finishing touch on an ambitious period of expansion. With an investment of USD188 million, a series of revenue diversifications, and a raft of new facilities completed, this expansion has equipped Asry with a variety of tools to drive to new growth." Shaikh Daij added: "This is the challenge of this year; to bring all of Asry's capabilities together towards tomorrow."
