(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) The Food Safety Academy at NHI, Muscat, is delighted to announce that it has been awarded premium centre status by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) UK to reflect its continuing long-standing relationship with the awarding body.

One of the major benefits for NHI clients from this recognition is that top food safety and health and safety qualifications results are sent back to CIEH within seven working days, meaning customers get their results much more quickly. The academy delivers training course from level one to four in food safety and HACCP, in five different languages.

The academy also installs international Food Safety Management HACCP systems into properties ranging from five star hotels to single unit coffee shops. As a follow-on service, the academy conducts food safety audits and inspections at a whole range of properties in the sultanate.

The Food Safety Academy has been a pioneer of food safety training in the sultanate and is delighted with this recognition from CIEH. It plans to continue to grow and diversify its services in this field, which will soon include food safety incident management and the management of allergens in food.
