(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) The Muscat Securities Market's benchmark index closed Tuesday's trade down 0.39 per cent at 6,887.87. Of the 52 securities traded, six gained, while 20 fell and 26 remained unchanged.

Bank Muscat traded the highest turnover, at RO1.54mn, closing flat, followed by Al Batinah Dev Inv Holding, which added 3.96 per cent. Shell #Oman Marketing posted a block deal for 200,000 shares.

All three sub-indices closed in the red, wth the Financial index dropping 0.16 per cent. The Industrial index fell 0.30 per cent, while the Services index lost 0.38 per cent.

Al Batinah Dev Inv Holding, #Oman Fisheries, Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles, and Sembcorp Salalah were the top gainers, closing up 3.96 per cent, 3.37 per cent, 1.38 per cent and 0.72 per cent, while #Oman Cement, Shell #Oman Marketing and Al Hassan Engineering fell 3.59 per cent, 2.84 per cent and 2.78 per cent, respectively.
