Oman- Two Royal Decrees issued

(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has issued two Royal Decrees as follows:

Royal Decree 32/2014: Declaring implementation of the road project connecting the Al Batinah Expressway with the existing Batinah road as a public utility.

Article one: Declares the implementation of the road project connecting the Batinah Expressway with the existing Batinah road, as specified in the master layout, as a public utility.

Article two: The concerned authorities shall expropriate, through direct implementation, the properties, relevant lands needed for the aforesaid project, as well as installations over them, in accordance with provisions of the Public Utility Expropriation Law.

Article three: The Decree comes into force from its date of issue.

 

Royal Decree 33/2014:

Ratifying International Road Transport Agreement between the government of the Sultanate of Oman and the government of Jordan signed in Muscat on November 3, 2013.

Article one: Ratifies the aforesaid agreement.

Article two: The concerned authorities shall deposit the ratification document on the said agreement as per its provisions.

Article three: The Decree takes effect from its date of issue.
