(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) As many as 730 workers including 235 absconders and 495 other workers were arrested for Labour Law violations between June 8 and 14.
According to the weekly report of the joint inspection team in the Ministry of Manpower, another 322 workers were found violating the Labour Law. 'These include 244 commercial workers, 24 farm workers and 54 housemaids and their equivalent,' the report said.
During this period, 325 workers were also deported for violating provisions of the Labour Law.
