(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Six of the sultanates brightest business professionals are waiting in eager anticipation to see who will be named winners of The NTI BizPro Award for 2014. 

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on June 17 following a lengthy and stringent selection process facilitated by KPMG. The theme for this year's award is Change' with all applicants show casing how they have grown within their professional lives to ensure that they can be part of the successful future of Oman as it grows , develops and changes. Nominations for the awards were completed in early April and close to 150 candidates were put forward.

All of the nominees then participated in a screening management aptitude test and 12 of the best were chosen to go forward. Following a strict assessment procedure, during which nominees were carefully interviewed and assessed, six of the group was selected by KPMG as finalists.

On June 17, three of these will become part of a distinguished group of Oman's finest young innovators whose outstanding performance, initiative and leadership, will see them being honoured at an awards ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Commenting on this year's awards, Lawrence Alva, CEO of NTI said, ''This year's theme of change is one that strikes a chord with many of our young leaders as they work towards harnessing the change happening all around them to forge ahead with great things.

Here at NTI we too are experiencing flux within our structure as we enjoy an exciting year of change and growth with Babcock International at our helm. In acquiring us and bringing us into the Babcock family we are gaining international exposure which will allow us to continue to grow as leaders in our field.'' The six finalists for this year's awards each bring with them a wealth of talent, an ethos of hard work and dedication and a belief in them.

They are Seham Khamis al Balushi, Bank Dhofar, Noora Sabah Jawad Sultan, National Bank of Oman, Shahd Nasr al Wahaibi, Shell Oman Marketing Company, Abdul Aziz Dhiyab al Abdul Salam, Ahli Bank, Ahmed Rashid Ali al Mahrizi, Oman LNG, Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed al Riyami, Omantel. The NTI BizPro Awards, with the core objective of encouraging, rewarding and promoting the momentous achievements of young Omani business professionals in the private sector is being presented by Renaissance Services for the eight consecutive year.<
