China's Chang'an recalls 37,861 Eulove vehicles


(MENAFN) According to Chinese consumer observers, Chang'an Automobile started recalling 37,861 Eulove vehicles in the country over a battery defect, Xinhua reported. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said in a statement that vehicles manufactured in the Feb. 3, 2013- April 20, 2014 period are affected. A design defect in the battery may cause a short circuit and even self-ignition under extreme conditions, as the company will replace the malfunctioned part for free.
