France deports Tunisian suspected of recruiting jihadists to fight in Syria


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The French Ministry of Interior announced Saturday that it has deported a Tunisian national suspected of recruiting jihadists to fight in Syria. In a press statement, the Ministry said the suspect was deported "as a matter of absolute urgency in view of the threat that his presence posed for public safety and state security." Last Month, the French Government adopted a plan to prevent French youth from joining the civil conflict in Syria amid reports estimating that nearly 285 French nationals have already joined the fight.
