sajid khan who seemed unaffected by the flop of his last outing himmatwala claimed to have “pushed the envelope a bit further” with this film which features all three lead actors — saif riteish and ram — in triple roles.

the ever-debonair and chatty saif ali khan jump-started the conversation by praising his director and giving khaleej times a sneak peek into the film. “it’s a crazy comedy with sajid khan going back to what he does best. and he’s worked extra hard on this for various reasons. he felt that he had a point to prove by trying to make the most entertaining film he could possibly make.

“he’s written a film with not just double roles but three characters with triple roles — it’s a comedy of errors and at the same time a laugh riot. it’s a very simple storyline of how ashok (me) and kumar (riteish) — two fabulously wealthy lucky and lovely people — nearly find themselves put into a lunatic asylum and have all their wealth taken away from them by their evil uncle (ram kapoor) with the use of two lookalikes. whether that happens or not and how things develop forms the rest of the story and when you least expect it there’s a third set of humshakals (lookalikes).”

when asked if any of the cast had found their lookalikes in real life saif joked that he had once at a petrol pump referring to a picture of a dead ringer that went viral. “that’s just saif on his off days” joked riteish.

the stars were welcomed to khaleej times by suhail abdul latif galadari director of galadari brothers llc. the event was organised by dream advertising and ministry of events.
