S. Korea's trade surplus hits USD47.8b in May


(MENAFN) Customs data showed that South Korea posted a trade surplus for 28 consecutive months in May, QNA reported. The registered surplus was despite slow-paced exports growth, according to the data from the Korea Customs Service. The country's exports reached USD47.8 billion last month, down 1 percent over a year ago, while imports increased 0.3 percent, hitting USD42.5 billion.
