S. Korea's export prices down 1.6 percent in May

(MENAFN) South Korea's central bank data showed that profitability among South Korean exporters continued at a weak pace in May, Xinhua reported. According to the Bank of Korea, export prices shrank 1.6 percent in May from a month earlier, keeping a downward trend for the third consecutive month. The poor performance was attributed to falling export prices for three straight months amid the local currency's ascent to the U.S. dollar.
