Tokyo Stocks Fall in Morning Session
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kyo june 12 (qna) - tokyo stocks fell thursday morning pressured by worries over the global economy following the world bank's reduction of its growth forecast for this year.
the 225-issue nikkei stock average shed 116.71 points or 0.77% from wednesday to 14952.77 according to japan's (kyodo) news agency.
the broader topix index of all first section issues on the tokyo stock exchange was down 3.7 points or 0.30% to 1235.37.
major decliners included real estate pharmaceutical as well as fishery and agriculture issues. (qna)
