Malaysian manufacturing sales up 7.7 percent in April


(MENAFN) The Malaysian manufacturing sector's sales value increased 7.7 percent in April 2014, hitting USD16.57 billion from USD15.38 billion registered a year earlier, QNA reported. Compared to April 2013, the sales value dipped 4.8 percent in April to USD841 million compared to USD17.41 billion posted in the previous months, said the Department of Statistics Malaysia. "On a seasonally-adjusted month-on-month basis, the sales value in April 2014 increased by 0.3%," it added.
