(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A two-year-old emirati girl died of smoke inhalation and four of her family members suffered burns and breathing difficulty after a fire ripped through their house in fujairah in the early hours of tuesday.
a fujairah civil defence spokesman said the fire was reported around4am. firefighting and rescue teams rushed to the scene and contained the blaze.
by the time the toddler who had serious difficulty in breathing was rushed to fujairah hospital by her father in his car the spokesman said.
four other members of the family who also suffered burns were taken in an ambulance to the same hospital.
the toddler was admitted in the intensive care unit as she had inhaled a lot of smoke and breathed her last after a few hours.
