(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Wednesday a cable of congratulations to Dr. Helal Al-Sayer on the occasion of his taking up the post of Board Chairman of Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS).
His Highness the Amir voiced sincere wishes for Al-Sayer to success in pursuing the noble humanitarian message of his predecessor Barjas Humoud Al-Barjas - the late chairman of the Society.
His Highness commended the outstanding contributions offered by Al-Sayer to the relief effort for long years.
He noted that KRCS asserted itself as leading aid organization in the regional and international level that acts to alleviate the suffering of the victims of humanitarian disasters.
Similar cables of congratulations were sent to Dr. Al-Sayer by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
