UAE's Drydocks opens platform DolWin beta

(MENAFN) UAE's Drydocks World has recently completed the pioneering high-voltage direct current (HVDC) converter platform DolWin beta, according to the Emirates 24/7. Completion of Dolwin beta provides a new era for Drydocks World's expertise and moves the facility into the top league of a few specialized shipyards in the world capable of building such mega offshore structures. Khamis Juma Buamim, Chairman of Drydocks World & Maritime World, said: "This is a testament to our engineering and production excellence and extensive capability to deliver highly outstanding projects of a sophisticated nature in a timely and efficient manner utilizing internal resources.
