Ethiopia- Salva Kiir and Machar Agree to Form Transitional Government


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Dis ababa june 11 (qna) - ethiopian prime minister hailemariam desalegn has announced that south sudan's president salva kiir and his former deputy riek machar agreed to form transitional government to run the affairs of the country within the coming 60 days.



this came in desalegn's statement on tuesday following a meeting of salva kiir and machar in addis ababa.

the ethiopian prime minister said that the meeting was held under the mediation of the intergovernmental authority on development (igad) which acts to end the crisis in south sudan and revealed that the agreement on the formation of the transitional government will include all the details of the internal peace process between the parties of the con?ict erupted since mid-december last year.
