(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Bul june 11 (qna) - at least eight deminers were shot dead by gunmen in eastern logar province of afghanistan on tuesday according to local officials in the province.
the incident took place in mohammad agha district a local security official said.
the official further added that the deminers belonged to mine detection centre (mds) and were killed in mes ainak area.
the vehicle of the deminers came under taliban militants fire in tubgi area (khaama press) quoted the official as saying.
no group including the taliban militants has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident. (qna)
