(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) It's getting way, way too hot, what with the temperature surpassing 45 degrees celcius and that's in the shade and the poor animals in Kuwait Zoo have no choice but to head straight to the artificial man-made ponds to cool off.
At summer time in Kuwait Zoo, that's what animals are destined to do, seek out some shade or, better yet, plunge into the nearest pond or artificial lake to try to forget the geographic fact that the ambient temperature is at the brain-frying stage. Cool water and plenty of it is the highest ambition these poor animals have at the zoo.
Kuwait Zoo is the home for more than 1600 animals and birds that belong to 188 species that can brave the searing heat every summer in Kuwait with patience and lots of cool water in the ponds.
