Philippines exports revenue edge up 0.8 percent in April

(MENAFN) The local Filipino statistics said the country's exports revenues edged up 0.8 percent on year, hitting USD4.54 billion in April, Xinhua reported. The poor performance of the country's exports is attributed to the 2.5 percent annual decline in exports earnings from electronics, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said. Earnings from electronic products reached USD1.81 billion, accounting for 40 percent of total revenues in April, but it remained as the country's top export during the period.
