China's PPI dips 1.4 percent in May


(MENAFN) China's producer price index (PPI) dipped to 1.4 percent in May compared to the same period a year earlier, Xinhua reported. The contraction followed a 2 percent decline in April, data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). On a monthly basis, the index edged down 0.1 percent in May compared to the previous month, NBS said.
