Slovakia FM arrives in Pakistan


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Slovakia Miroslav Lajcak on Monday arrived in Pakistan on a two-day official visit with a six-member delegation, said Foreign Office in a press release. He called on Pakistan's Adviser to Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz in the federal capital Islamabad. They discussed the entire range of Pakistan-Slovak relations. Both agreed to further strengthen the political and economic relations, said the release. The Adviser briefed the visiting delegation on Pakistan's economic revival, and investor friendly climate. He highlighted the vision of the Prime Minister to have a peaceful neighborhood. The Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister stated, "Slovakia keenly looked forward to increase its trade with Pakistan." Lajcak also called on Pakistani National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. A group of businessmen is also accompanying the Slovak Deputy Prime Minister. The two sides also discussed global and regional issues. The talks were held in a friendly and cordial atmosphere, the release added.
