(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Saudi counterpart Saud Al-Faisal on Monday discussed by phone the current Syrian crisis and how to resolve it by political and diplomatic means.
In the phone conversation, both sides exchanged views on a series of regional and international issues of mutual interest and the Syrian crisis, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
They voiced willingness to promote bilateral relations in trade, economic and energy areas, the ministry added.
But, the Russian ministry failed to reveal any further details on the contact which was made by the Saudi side.
