Arab traffic chiefs to meet in Tunisia Wed.


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The 15th conference of heads of the Arab traffic departments will open in Tunis on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Secretary General of the Arab Interior Ministers' Council (AIMC) Dr. Mohammad Koman. The Arab League and the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) will be represented at the gathering, AIMC Secretariat said in a statement on Monday. On top of the agenda of the conference will be the blueprint of the single Arab traffic law and the role of awareness campaigns in preventing road accidents, as well as sharing the best experiences in traffic regulation and the celebrations marking the Arab traffic week. The conferees are expected to work out recommendations which will be presented to the coming meeting of the AIMC for final endorsement.
