Afghan's economic growth dips 3 percent in 2014


(MENAFN) Afghani economic growth dropped to 3 percent in 2014 from around 14 percent registered in 2012, The Peninsula Qatar reported. The already-suffering economy has been on a cliff as Afghanistan's war winds down and a weak political transition looms. The country's banks are at a risk of being put on an international blacklist in June in case parliament failed to pass a long-demand money laundering bill, with devastating consequences for the fragile economy.
