Kuwait, China boost cooperation relations


(MENAFN) The GCC countries and China reported fast growth in their economic and financial cooperation between them in the last few years, according to KUNA. Kuwait-China Investment Company (KCIC) said that the friendly political relations impacted positively on the steadily-growing economic ties. The announcement was revealed in a visit of His Highness the Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to China last week. During the visit, Kuwait and China signed 10 agreements, including a visa waiver document on holders of special and diplomatic passports, and agreements on cooperation in such areas as energy, education, communication and joint investment.
