GM to recall 106,000 more vehicles in North America


(MENAFN) General Motors announced recalling four more vehicles, hitting a total of 106,000 units in North America, including one with an air-bag defect likely linked to a car crash, The Peninsula Qatar reported. The largest US automaker is recalling 31,520 of 2012 model Buick Verano and Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze and Sonic compact cars to fix a defect connection within the air-bag system that can cause the bag not to deploy in a crash. The automaker faces a tough security from the country's regulators and lawmakers amid a recall scandal liked to 13 deaths, as a majority of 89,126 units affected in the US.
