Lebanon's airport to close down for two hours next Tues. due to strike


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Rafiq Al-Hariri International Airport will shut down for two hours next Tuesday, the Lebanese Air Traffic Controllers Committee said Saturday. The committee said that halted aviation services, to include arriving and departing flights, would start at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. local time, adding the move is protest against delays of salaries raise and promotions of the public sector in Lebanon. The committee executed similar strikes in the past, one was due to transferring the issue of employee salaries to parliament, affecting a number of flights.
