(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Bat june 07 (qna) - the fourth meeting of the standing committee on palestine an organ of the parliamentary union of the organization of islamic conference memeber states (puic) is scheduled to take place in rabat next wednesday.
the meeting aims to support the palestinian cause and steadfastness to enable the palestinians to regain their legitimate rights for inalienable freedom from israeli occupation and establishment of a palestinian state with jerusalem as its capital and to maintain the legal status and cultural religious and architectural identity of occupied jerusalem.
it also aims to create real solidarity and unity among muslim countries based on the respect of states' territorial sovereignty as the only way to overcome the current international challenges facing the islamic world and the palestinian cause.
member states participating in this meeting are morocco palestine bahrain iraq jordan saudi arabia burkina faso chad guinea senegal algeria uae indonesia turkey cameroon iran and sudan. (qna)
