Indian Premier Modi to Visit Bhutan


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) W delhi june 06 (qna) - new indian prime minister narendra modi is to visit bhutan for his first official trip abroad news reports said friday.

the visit was likely to take place later this month the hindustan times and indian express newspapers quoted government sources as saying.

modi received numerous invitations including to the united states and japan in the days following his party's victory in india's general elections and his subsequent inauguration as prime minister.

senior government sources said modi had chosen bhutan in order to prioritize cooperative economic ties between india and its neighbours the hindustan times reported.(qna)
