in a statement qurei urgently called on the international community and the un security council to forcefully put pressure on the israeli government to halt all the settlement activities and to entirely stop the system of settlement.
he also urged arab and islamic nations especially the arab league and the organization of the islamic conference to to put the daily israeli violations practiced in jerusalem city as the main priority in their agenda and take serious steps to protect the holy city from the risk of judaization.
