Britain's car registration up in May


(MENAFN) The British major automobile association said that the number of new car registered in the country rose to 194,032 units in May, the highest in ten years, Khaleej Times reported. According to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), the increase drove British new car market to 27 consecutive months of growth, breaking record set in the late 1980s. "The new car market has now grown in every month since March 2012 - the longest period of growth on record and a reflection of the Britain's ever-improving economic conditions," SMMT Chief Executive said.
