(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Hran june 04 (qna) - iranian foreign minister mohammad javad zarif and his luxembourg counterpart jean asselborn in a meeting in tehran on tuesday discussed bilateral ties and regional developments.
during the meeting in the iranian capital zarif reviewed different areas of bilateral ties and said that there are abundant capacities for the expansion of the relations according to iran's (irna) news agency.
"exchange of political and parliamentary delegations is one of the appropriate areas for boosting mutual cooperation" the iranian foreign minister said.
the luxembourg foreign minister for his part underlined iran's high status and important role in major regional issues and said that the two countries should make use of their existing potentials to promote their bilateral ties.
luxembourg's foreign minister arrived in tehran on tuesday and is scheduled to meet with president hassan rouhani. he met parliament speaker ali larijani and discussed bilateral ties and the latest international developments. (qna)
