Abu Dhabi's economy expands 5.2 percent in 2013


(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi's official statistics center reported that the emirate's economy boosted by 5.2 percent based on inflation rate in 2013 compared to 4.8 percent in 2012, according to the Emirates 24/7. The contribution of the hydrocarbon sector to Abu Dhabi's GDP dropped to 51.4 percent in 2013 compared to 52.4 percent in 2012. Abu Dhabi accounts for about two-thirds of the roughly USD400 billion UAE economy and almost all of its crude oil exports.
