Auto parts trade in Dubai exceeds USD10b in 2013


(MENAFN) Dubai's auto parts trade was estimated at USD10.89 billion in 2013 compared to USD10.07 billion a year earlier, according to Gulf Daily News. The emirate's imports boosted 4 percent to reach USD6.261 billion. Also exports and re-exports saw a 13 percent growth reaching USD4.628 billion. Four major Dubai trading partners amounted 61 percent of the total imports reaching USD3.811 billion worth of products. Japan was the top destination from which Dubai"s car parts originated, claiming USD1.55 billion of the market.
